Our History
Crown Agents Zimbabwe Pvt Ltd (CAZim) is a technical assistance provider registered in Zimbabwe, operational since 1980. Originally an offshoot of the UK-based Crown Agents Limited (CAL), CAZim has its roots in a long history of international development work, dating back to the British government's founding of CAL in 1833. Our mission is to work with leaders to accelerate self-sufficiency and prosperity for all.
As a former member of Crown Agents Limited, CAZim benefits from the accumulated global expertise of its parent and sister companies, alumni, and associate consultants. We maintain strong relationships with various stakeholders, including the Government of Zimbabwe, UN agencies, international development partners, civil society organizations, NGOs, and the private sector, to ensure the successful delivery of our programs.

CAZim is a 100% local entity that has built a strong reputation for professionalism, independence, and problem-solving. Our Zimbabwean staff are highly experienced, with a deep understanding of local institutions and long-standing relationships with key stakeholders, including government ministries and development organizations.
With a presence in all 10 provinces of Zimbabwe, we have established relationships with provincial and district authorities, enabling us to mobilize and set up teams swiftly. We have access to over 1,600 health facilities across the country, creating a foundation of local partnerships that we leverage to accelerate development and ensure sustainability. This local presence allows us to navigate complex environments and deliver high-impact projects effectively.
